Katherine Webb’s fame is largely due to the success of her on-and-off again boyfriend A.J. McCarron, who is the quarterback at Alabama. McCarron’s success on nationally televised games, like the national championship, earned Webb some TV face time that she was able to parlay into fame and fortune. Webb’s relationship with the star QB has been a rocky ride, but it appears as if the two are going strong these days, which presents a new challenge for them.
As mentioned, A.J. McCarron is the starting quarterback at the University of Alabama, the number one football team in the country. This weekend they will travel to Auburn to play the ‘Iron Bowl’ a yearly anticipated rivalry. What makes this interesting is that Katherine Webb attended Auburn university as an undergrad student. This weekend is the first ‘Iron Bowl’ that Webb will be attending and she’s admitted to being nervous. “This is the first actual game, Iron Bowl, that I will be attending.” Webb said. “I don’t know what to expect and I’m really nervous.”
We all believe that Webb will side with her boyfriend. After all, she should – he’s the one who got her the name recognition in the first place.
