Where Does Chris D’Elia Live?

Over the years, between 2006 and 2021, Chris has bought and sold a number of properties in Los Angeles. It’s estimated that the comedian has owned and lived in three of these properties and that he is now living in the first home he ever purchased.

In 2006, Chirs bought a two-bed two-bath condo for a mere USD $435,000. He lived in the property for a decade but moved out in 2016 when he upgraded to a mansion. While it’s not clear what Chris had been using the property for over the past few years, it’s suspected that he now lives there once more.

In 2016, Chris purchased a mansion in Laurel Canyon for USD $2,600,000. This 3,825 square foot Cape Cod style home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms spread out across two stories. It also has a spa, a swimming pool, and a two-car garage. He put the property up for sale at USD $2,868,000 in 2018.

In 2018, he purchased a USD $5,800,000 mansion in The Summit, a private gated community in Beverly Hills. He bought the four-bedroomed 5,400 square foot mansion – which boasts amenities such as a three-car garage, walk-in closets, a plunge pool, a spa, an outdoor entertainment area, and unobstructed views of San Fernando Valley – from actress Tricia Helfer. He sold it in 2021 for USD $5,800,000.

Where Does Chris D’Elia Work?

Many celebrities travel for work. In some cases, a celebrity will head to a national destination for collaboration or photoshoot, then jet off overseas to do more of the same and film scenes for production, and then fly to an exotic location to wind down once work has stopped.

In the cases of musical artists and stand-up comedians in specific, there is a lot of touring involved. More often than not, this includes traveling to several areas in one county and then heading on to the next.

In 2022, the official Chris D’Elia website announced that the funnyman would be touring in California, Georgia, Washington DC, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Wyoming, Massachusetts, and Florida. In the past, he has toured to New Jersey, West Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, Missouri, and Canada.

Where Did Chirs D’Elia Grow Up?

Chris was born in the Montclair area of New Jersey on 29 March 1980. Montclair is a township located in Essex County and is surrounded by the Watchung Mountains. The area is known for its art institutions, an abundance of parks, and breathtaking views of the New York City skyline that the high peaks provide.

While he’s one of the most recognizable, the funnyman is far from the only celebrity who was born in Montclair. Bobbi Brown, John Callahan, Christina Ricci, and Wendy Williams are just a few of the many famous people from Montclair, New Jersey.

Though born in Montclair, Chris and his family moved to Los Angeles, California, when he was just 12 years old. He attended La Cañada High School and graduated in the class of 1998. After that, he moved to New York and began studying acting at New York University but dropped out a year later as college was not for him. At the age of 20, he then moved back to Los Angeles and lived in an apartment.

In an interview with NorthJersey.com, Chris was asked what it was like growing up in Montclair and he answered, “I just remember it being generally fun, and I miss it. Montclair was a great place to grow up.” When asked about his feelings around the move to Los Angeles, he said, “I was going to miss my friends, but I was also excited.”
